The Call for 2026 is closed: 710 Films from 78 Countries

The call for submissions for the 11th edition of Winter Apricots: Prilep International Film Festival is now officially closed, with 710 films submitted from 78 countries.

These numbers make us incredibly proud – not simply because of their quantity, but because they represent an extraordinary variety of voices, perspectives, and stories. Every film is a world of its own, offering a unique encounter and a glimpse into different ways of experiencing life. We are truly honoured by the opportunity to discover them.

The selection process is now underway. Stay tuned for the announcement of this year’s programme and the films that will join us in Prilep this December!
